Unmasked men rob the one bank in Cebu

Four men robbed a rural bank in Mandaue City, emptying its vault of some P30, 000. After one of the bank workers went out for some personal business, a man knocked on the bank’s glass door. The security guard saw only one man outside the door and unlocked it. As soon as the guard unlocked the door, two other men appeared out of nowhere and all three men got in. one of them disarmed the security guard and two of the robbers were carrying 45 pistols. The robbers told to everyone inside the bank to lie on their stomach and asked for the keys to the vault. In five minutes they are gone along with some P30, 000. They fled toward the Mandaue public market using two motorcycles. The robbers were between 30 to 35 years old and spoke Tagalong. The management of the bank had their old security guard and the bank located on the busy A.del Rosario Street in Barangay Guizo and the bank didn’t install any security camera. The alarm was sounded off after the robbers had fled. One of the bank employees said that she recognized one of the robbers because he was in the bank last Tuesday inquiring about making deposit.
