Dengue cases in Iloilo

The place of Iloilo there is 22 deaths and more than thousand of dengue cases. The mayor said in this municipality that is many registered cases of dengue fever from the month of January and to the month of September in this year. The barangays and other concerned private groups are currently monitored and render immediate assistance to residents against the dengue fever. To prevent dengue the public was advised to destroy the entire mosquito breeding site like in the old tires, bottles of soft drinks and tin cans. The residents were also told to use mosquito nets during the night in bed were they sleep, must wear long sleeves, apply the anti-mosquito lotion and especially the windows and doors has screen to prevent the entry of mosquitoes. Because dengue is the most common disease during the rainy days as there are more potential breeding grounds for the Aedes aegypti disease that the mosquitoes are carrying.
