Israel reprimands two top officers over Gaza war
JERUSALEM (AFP) - Israel's military has reprimanded two senior officers for the firing of shells, which contained white phosphorous, in a populated area near a UN compound during the Gaza war, the army said on Monday.

Clinton vows to work towards Palestinian state
RAMALLAH, West Bank (AFP) - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called on Israel to allow more aid into Gaza, blasted its plans for razing houses in east Jerusalem and vowed to work towards a Palestinian state as she met with president Mahmud Abbas on Wednesday.
