2 quakes hit northern Luzon

Two earthquakes rocked parts of northern Luzon shortly. The first quake with magnitude of 3.8 occurred at 12:29 p.m. with its epicenter located at 31 kilometers northwest of Iligan town in Isabela province. The second was recorded at 12:52 p.m. with epicenter traced at 32 kilometers southeast of Tabuk in Kalinga Apayao. The phivolcs said there were no damages recorded and aftershocks were not expected. It said that both quakes were tectonic in origin.
